You use your plumbing multiple times a day, whether it’s to shower, brush your teeth, use the toilet, or even fill a pot of water. When you enjoy running water so often, it’s very noticeable and problematic when it stops working correctly. If you need some sort of plumbing repair, you call the plumber. If it’s an urgent need and off-hours, you can call an emergency plumber. You’ll need to be careful to discern whether it’s an emergency or not though. Here are a few things you should know before calling our emergency plumber.
- Know our hours: The first thing you should know before calling our emergency plumber in our off-hours is our regular hours. We make our services available much later than most plumbers in the area, so chances are that you can just call our regular plumber. We are open until 11:00 PM even on the weekends.
- Emergencies only: No one likes being woken up at odd hours of the night if they don’t have to; this counts for plumbers as well. It’s important to understand that our emergency plumber is for emergencies only. If your bathroom faucet is leaking and dripping, simply turn off the water valve and go back to sleep. You can give us a call to fix your leak in the morning. If your toilet is overflowing and flooding the bathroom no matter what you try, that warrants an emergency call.
- Extra fee: You should also know that emergency plumbing can often come with an extra fee for the work performed during off hours. If it’s a simple plumbing situation that can wait until the morning, it might be better to do so.
You can give us a call if you would like to learn more about the services our emergency plumber can offer.
