We use faucets all throughout the day, but we don’t really pay them much attention until something is wrong. Then, it simply cannot be ignored and must be fixed right away. Such fixes or replacements are better left to the professionals for better results. Here are three signs you need a new faucet installation.
- Excessive leaking: If you’ve had your faucet repaired more times than you’d like to admit for a leak, then it’s time for a new faucet installation. You will also want to replace your faucet if the water is leaking from the base of the faucet or around the handles.
- Low water pressure: While low water pressure can sometimes be fixed with a simple repair, there are other times that your faucet is just too damaged to restore your water pressure. You will need a new faucet if it gets to this point.
- Rust: There are some situations where rust can be easily cleared away, but if it has been sitting on your faucet for too long, it could be corroding the handles or inside the faucet, causing irreparable damage. If there is an excessive amount of rust on your faucet, it might be best for a new faucet installation.
